Hotel tarmac patching and repairs in Worsley Park.
North West Surfacing completed a large tarmac patching and repair project at Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club. The hotel surface had multiple failed and uneven sections, creating a rougher approach for vehicles moving around the site.
The project involved planing out more than 130 damaged areas, replacing the failed sections with new tarmac and sealing the repairs to create a smoother and more consistent finish for guests, staff and service vehicles.
Project snapshot
Location: Worsley Park, Manchester
Client: Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club
Project type: Commercial tarmac patching and repairs
Surface: Hotel driveway and access surface
Additional work: Planing, patch repairs, new tarmac and sealing
Outcome: Smoother, safer and more practical access across high-use hotel areas
The brief
The hotel needed damaged tarmac sections repaired across a busy access surface. With guests, staff and service vehicles using the site every day, the repairs needed to remove the worst failed areas and improve the feel of the route.
The work
An industrial planer was used to grind out the damaged sections before the team installed fresh tarmac patch repairs. The repaired areas were then sealed to help create a cleaner and more consistent finish across the surface.
The result
The finished surface gave Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club a much cleaner frontage and a more professional first impression for visiting customers. It also created a more practical surface for regular vehicle traffic.
Repair work and finished surface.
This project shows the value of targeted tarmac patching on a large commercial site. Rather than replacing the entire surface, the damaged areas were planed out, repaired and sealed to deal with the sections that had failed.
For a hotel and country club, smoother access routes help protect the customer experience from the moment guests arrive on site.

How the repairs were carried out.
The work focused on repairing the failed sections of the hotel surface. An industrial planer was used to remove damaged tarmac before the areas were reinstated with new material and sealed.
This approach is useful for commercial sites where localised damage has created a rough surface, but a full replacement is not the most practical option.
Why hotel surface repairs matter.
Hotel driveways, access roads and car park surfaces deal with constant movement from guests, staff, deliveries and service vehicles. When patches begin to fail, the surface can quickly feel tired, uneven and harder to navigate.
Repairing damaged sections helps extend the usable life of the surface while improving the arrival experience. For Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club, the work helped remove the rougher sections and restore a smoother finish across key access areas.
